I'm Yakup Gündüz, a full-stack software developer based in Istanbul. I build SaaS, web and automation systems with Next.js and Laravel. I founded Harpos, a POS platform for restaurants and cafés, and I study computer science at 42 İstanbul and graphic design at Istanbul University.

I bring the foundation I built with C/C++ into everyday web work: thinking in algorithms, memory and performance. I structure applications with SOLID, MVC and the Repository Pattern and connect them through RESTful APIs. I optimize MSSQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL queries with CTEs and stored procedures, and run deployments with Docker and Nginx. That is how I built the order and payment services of Harpos with Next.js, Laravel and REST.

Harpos: a POS platform for restaurants and cafés

Harpos is the SaaS startup I founded. It brings billing, table and order management and QR menus together on one platform for restaurants, cafés and hotels, with multi-branch support. I designed and built the system end to end: I wrote the order and payment services with Next.js, Laravel and REST, and ran the Docker/Nginx infrastructure and deployments. The platform served 5 cafés and restaurants.

SaaS and web applications

I build SaaS and web applications end to end with Next.js, React and Laravel: ordering, payments, admin panels and RESTful APIs. The architecture rests on SOLID principles and clean layers.
