Work with me

I'm Yakup Gündüz, a full-stack software developer based in Istanbul. I build SaaS, web and automation systems with Next.js and Laravel, combining a C/C++ foundation with experience in SQL optimization, RESTful APIs and Docker/Nginx deployment. I'm also open to remote work for other cities.

In August 2024 I founded my own startup, Harpos Teknoloji, and ran it as founder and full-stack developer until August 2026. I designed and built a POS system with billing, table/order management and QR menus for restaurants, cafés and hotels; it served 5 cafés and restaurants. I wrote the order and payment services with Next.js, Laravel and REST, ran the Docker/Nginx infrastructure and deployments, and optimized MSSQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL queries with CTEs and stored procedures.

I started in software in October 2023 as an intern at Kle Bilgi Teknolojileri in Yıldız Technical University Technopark, building HTML/CSS/JavaScript interfaces and API integrations and contributing to Git, CI/CD and debugging. From May to September 2024 I worked there full time as a software developer, building enterprise web and backend applications with SOLID, MVC and the Repository Pattern. In the same period I worked as a data science specialist at London-based Uniqh, analysing and cleaning datasets and building analytics data pipelines.

Since June 2025 I have been studying computer science at 42 İstanbul (Bilişim Vadisi) in a project-based program: C/C++, algorithms, memory management, concurrency and UNIX. Since 2024 I have also been studying graphic design at Istanbul University, focusing on UX/UI and digital visual design. At Monad Blitz Istanbul I built the frontend and the post-vote video visualization of Inscribi Director, which placed third among 46 teams.

Alongside this I have built corporate websites and portals with Next.js and Laravel for 90.ventures, Bircan Turizm, Özköse Group, MAİP, Caledor, Intermed MS and Yavuzoğlu Mimarlık, and a responsive catalog, dynamic QR menu and live ordering system for Meringa.
